Phishing takes on Facebook yet again.

It is the second time in a row in one week. People have been getting email with subject line "Hello" and a web link that tells "areps.at" or "brunga.at", clicking on which took them to a false Facebook Login. A trick well designed to deceive people and get their password to gain access to their Facebook account. Why do people try to hack a person's personal social networking account? It seems to make no sense to say that they risk their future for just fun.

People often maintain the same password consistent throughout for all their accounts, from online-banking accounts to these social networking accounts. So if you can find a person's password for a social networking site say Facebook for instant and if you can somehow trace out his bank details it all makes sense. Now he is not just hack of his privacy but robbed of his money. Facebook has taken steps to reset the passwords of those users whose accounts have been hacked and increasing its security measures. But every measure that Anti-Phishing group takes has a counter effect from the Hackers. They are motivated to somehow get around the new security that is setup. So every time I receive a phishing message, I just marvel the intelligence of those Hackers who make it happen.
