Hacking for US...
Its high time that pentagon has concentrated on its cyber warfare.
This time it bigger and better. US have allocated 10 billion dollars
for cyber warfare weapons development to prevent hacking in its
internet space. But they say this is only a fraction of the sum it
allots for the military and is expected to increase in coming years.
Companies like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and
General Dynamics which are the major contractors for with the military
and intelligence are having their share of this 10 billion. In this
recession period, these are the only companies seeing opportunity and
hiring people. At a Raytheon facility south of Kennedy Space Center,
it's getting hotter with huge cash prizes for those who develop tools
to protect the pentagon's computers. These military contractors are now
in an enviable position for protecting pentagon's data for some
lucrative money.
Companies like Raytheon are in a hunt for talented ones. A young college dropout Dustin, has recently received an offer from Raytheon after he has won two major hacking contests. And the list goes on. With cyber warfare getting better and better due to the inevitable fact that computers and internet has now become an integral part of US military system, people are now changing careers.
